Balsamic Vinegar of Modena Serie 15 – Vintage

Balsamic Vinegar of Modena made of grape musts and wine vinegar of trebbiano and lambrusco grapes aged in wooden barrels of different types for several years: oak, chestnut, juniper, cherry, acacia, ash tree and mulberry, creating an explosion of smells, aromas and colours.

Each wooden barrel is open to allow the product’s concentration by natural evaporation. Every year the product is transferred from a wooden barrel to another to acquire the typical smells and woody tastes.

With a complex and evolved structure, this sweet-sour condiment is pleasantly acid at the beginning, with an evolution in the mouth that leave velvety, fruity, spicy and honeyed notes.

With a sweet and persistent aftertaste, it is perfect to enrich important dishes, like risotto and fresh pasta, aged cheeses, grilled red meat, strawberries, desserts, etc… or even to be eaten pure at the end of meals as natural digestive.

It has been awarded by the German magazine “Der Feinschmecker” as best Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, winning the 4th place among 50 different products.
