The anchovies of the Cantabrian Sea are considered the best in the world by connoisseurs, in terms of size, flesh and taste. The cold waters, with a good amount of oxygen and rich in plankton, make the flesh of these anchovies more tender and tasty: we select only the best, namely those caught in spring.
We work them by hand and let them mature for 6 months to bring out all their flavour and consistency.

Rizzoli’s ‘Gran Pasta’ Anchovy paste is obtained by blending together our finest anchovies with oil, salt and natural flavor. A soft speciality to savour in a thousand ways: on canapés, pizzas, in salads, as a condiment with pasta or as an ingredient for the tastiest recipes. Produced in Parma.
