The name of this wine comes from the Italian word “Strega” ( “Witch”) and “Mora” , that means “black-haired lady” but also “blackberry”.  StregaMora is a perfect combination of 100% Piedirosso (“Mora”), an indigenous and aromatic grape variety rich in flavors of red fruits and berry and in scents of Violet and Rose, and the soil of Roccamonfina Volcano (“Strega”) whose minerals give to the wine a velvety, smoothly full, elegant and complex palate. This is the new wine from Villa Matilde the renowned producer from Campania. The 2016 is the first vintage produced and released.
