Fumagalli family business started in the ’20s with a small meat deli shop in Meda, at that time province of Milan. Along with the shop, a small pork meat processing plant was added. It was around the beginning of the ‘30s that the industrial activity started, with the pigs slaughtering and the production of an increasingly complete range of products. Alongside the production of Brianza typical cold cuts, Fumagalli started to produce cooked ham and to send pork legs to Langhirano (Parma), where the raw material was processed and cured according to “Consorzio di Parma” specification. Today, Fumagalli exports more than 70% of its production, in more than 20 foreign countries- The company is characterized by a completely owned supply chain and by a traceability system, where a single entity produces, manage and control the entire process from genetics to the final product. Our products reflect our values, this is the reason why Fumagalli has always paid attention to sustainability.​ In fact, this year we have designed a new product line with a sustainable packaging made with more than 75% sustainable FSC® paper. The paper tray recyclability is Aticelca MC 501:2017 certified​
